Instead of ordering the factory black pack option as an extra, which is often thousands of dollars, we can hide it with our vehicle specific chrome delete packages.
Our Chrome delete packages are often a fraction of the cost of the manufacturer black pack options and being made from the original item.
Mercedes have the Night Pack, Audi and others have the Black editions, no matter what, we are here to offer a quick and affordable alternative.

The film is manufactured specifically for vehicle applications to provide dimensional stability and durability without the need for any overlaminates, once applied and bonded to your vehicle's surface, you can clean it and polish it with any type of cleaning product.
The pressure-activated adhesive allows you to slide and reposition the film over the surface of the vehicle until you apply firm pressure, and the non-visible air release channels assure a fast, easy and virtually bubble-free installation when professionally installed, saving valuable installation time.

Chrome Delete Stripes Application Guide
1. Prepare the Surface
- Clean the Area Thoroughly: Begin by washing the chrome trim or areas where stripes will be applied. Use a mild soap or automotive-grade cleaner to remove dirt, grease, or wax buildup.
- Degrease with Isopropyl Alcohol: Once cleaned, wipe the surface with isopropyl alcohol to remove any remaining residues. Allow it to dry completely for optimal adhesion.
- Inspect the Surface: Ensure the trim or body panel is smooth and free from chips or scratches, as vinyl adheres best to smooth surfaces.
2. Measure and Cut the Film
- Measure the Length of Trim or Stripe Area: Measure the trim or stripe length and cut the vinyl film slightly larger. This allows room for adjustments and precise trimming.
- Use Pre-Cut Stripes: Our pre-cut stripe kits are available for chrome deletes or custom striping, providing a hassle-free application with minimal trimming.
3. Apply the Film
- Peel the Backing and Position the Film: Peel back a small section of the vinyl backing and align it with one edge of the trim or stripe area. Start pressing down the film carefully, keeping it as straight as possible.
- Apply the Vinyl in Sections: Work slowly and in sections, peeling away the backing as you smooth the vinyl onto the surface. This helps avoid air bubbles and keeps the alignment consistent.
4. Smooth and Conform the Film (for Contoured Surfaces)
- Use a Heat Gun (Optional): For chrome delete applications on curved or contoured trim, use a heat gun on low heat to make the vinyl more pliable. Be cautious not to overheat, as this can warp or stretch the vinyl.
- Press and Conform to Shape: Gently stretch and conform the film over any curves, pressing down to adhere it smoothly.
5. Trim Excess Vinyl
- Careful Trimming: Use a sharp utility knife to trim any excess vinyl along the edges of the trim or stripe area. Avoid cutting into the paint or trim underneath.
- Seal the Edges: Run a squeegee or your finger along the edges to ensure a tight seal. This prevents peeling and helps the vinyl stay in place over time.
6. Final Inspection and Curing
- Inspect for Air Bubbles: If small bubbles appear, gently lift and reapply that section, or use a pin to pop the bubble and smooth it out.
- Allow Time to Cure: Avoid washing or exposing the stripes or chrome delete to harsh conditions for 24-48 hours, allowing the adhesive to fully bond.

- Soft Squeegee with Felt Edge: A soft squeegee ensures smooth application without scratching the vinyl, especially useful on high-gloss finishes.

- Measuring Tape or Ruler: Measuring accurately ensures that the film is applied in a straight line, avoiding alignment issues.
2. Cleaning and Preparation Supplies
- Isopropyl Alcohol (70% or Higher): Ensures the trim or body panels are free from oils and residues for maximum adhesion.
- Lint-Free Cloths or Microfiber Towels: Ideal for wiping down the surface without leaving any fibers or dust.
- Automotive-Grade Cleaner: Use an ammonia-free cleaner specifically for automotive surfaces to remove any buildup without damaging the paint or chrome.
3. Tools for Removing Air Bubbles and Wrinkles
- Heat Gun: Helpful for conforming the vinyl on curved sections of chrome trim or for achieving a snug fit on custom stripes.
- Air Release Tool: Use a pin or air release tool for tiny bubbles that may be trapped under the vinyl. This allows for bubble-free application without visible marks.
4. Application Helpers for Complex Shapes
- Wrap Glove or Tint Glove: Protects the vinyl from fingerprints and smudges, allowing you to apply pressure with your hand without leaving marks.
5. Post-Installation Tools
- Edge Seal Tape (Optional): For chrome deletes and custom striping that may be exposed to extreme conditions, edge seal tape can reinforce edges and prevent peeling.
- Vinyl-Safe Detailer or Cleaner: Helps keep the vinyl clean and looking fresh, maintaining the finish of chrome delete stripes or custom striping.

When will my order be fulfilled?
Instawraps aims to fulfill all orders on the same day they are received. Orders placed before 11:00 AM EST are typically shipped the same day. Orders placed after 11:00 AM EST may be shipped the next business day.
For customers in Ontario, Canada, we offer a same-day local delivery option. Orders placed between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM EST are dispatched within 1 hour and are expected to arrive before 5:00 PM EST. Order placed outside these hours or on non-business days will be dispatched the next next business day after 10:00 AM EST. Express shipping options are also available at checkout, with express orders received before 11:00 AM EST generally shipped the same day.
Is there a cut-off time for same day curbside pickup orders?
Yes, the cut-off time for same-day curbside pickup orders is 11:00 AM EST. Orders placed before this time will typically be ready for pickup by the end of the day.
If an order is placed after 11:00 AM EST and same-day pickup is needed, customers can pay a $25 fee at checkout for expedited same-day pickup. Otherwise, orders placed after the cut-off time will likely be ready the next business day.
Please note, curbside pickup is only available at our Ontario location.

Canadian customers can also pay via E-transfer, and U.S. customers via Zelle.
Additionally, we offer a partial payment plan through Sezzle, which lets you split your purchase into four equal, interest-free payments. The first payment is due at checkout, with the remaining payments automatically deducted every two weeks.
